Events for Summer & Autumn 2025

SUNDAY FUNDAY – Sunday 31st August at Castle Cary Rugby Club from 12-5pm.

Car boot, Stalls, musical entertainment, Majorettes, Bouncy Castle and so much more.

CHILDREN’S CARNIVAL – Saturday 4th October, 3pm–5pm.

We kick the day off with a Coffee Morning at The Market House from 10.00am. Come and grab a cake or bacon butty to start your day, with face painting and stalls for all.

The procession leaves the Primary School at 3pm. After the procession we will have a Circus Skills Workshop from Flotsam the Fool.

Our Theme this year is ‘Red, White and Blue’. We are excited to see what you create.

EVENING CARNIVAL – Saturday 11th October – 7PM

The procession leaves Ansford Academy at 7pm.

Once again, we will be bringing Carnival spirit back to Castle Cary & Ansford and we couldn’t be happier.

We hope to see you out enjoying the wonderful creativity of the big carts and masqueraders and the amazing Majorettes.

We have entertainment before and after the procession at The Market House starting from 6pm. It’s going to be fantastic.
