Apply for a donation – by 25 October
During both the Children’s and Illuminated Carnival processions, we collect from the crowd to raise money – some to fund carnival next year, but over 70% being donated to local, often over-looked charitable organisations. Last year, we donated £1,800 – thanks to your generosity.

This year the closing date is much earlier than recently, its SATURDAY 25 OCTOBER. The Carnival Society Committee are making decisions in early November.
The donations will be awarded at an evening Presentation event on FRIDAY 5 DECEMBER 2025. This will be held at Castle Cary Rugby Club. This evening promises to be a real celebration, as we will also hand out the cups and awards to the winners of the different categories in the carnival. Although frankly, with such a great processions, everyone is always a winner!
