Castle Cary & Ansford Carnival Society / Events  / Sunday Funday – August 14th 2024

Sunday Funday – August 14th 2024

What an amazing Sunday we had, it truly was a very fun day. The sun brought everybody down to the Rugby Club for day of carnival fun and we couldn’t have been more delighted with the support from the lovely people of Castle Cary and the surrounding towns and villages. The kettle was working overtime and the cakes were flying out. Burgers and sausages were being flipped and everyone was sat enjoying the wonderful music from Les the Karoke man.

The Castle Cary Cygnets Majorettes put on a fabulous display as all ways and got the crowd involved for some pom pom shaking fun. Our little feather friends from Feathered Occasions were sat beautifully on their perches just waiting for the next person to pop on round to hold them and have their photo taken, they are always camera ready.

The car boots had some wonderful things on offer and there was something for everyone on the surrounding stalls and the wonderfully talented craft stalls in the hall.

The bouncy castles from K and K Party and Play were in high demand as always and the little red faces that were walking around proved that they were a great hit. The car show was small but perfectly formed and the cars that were on display were truly spectacular.

As always we would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who helped, had stalls and donated cakes etc, and a massive thank you to the Rugby Club for allowing us to use the hall and the field.

We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did.
