Dates for your diary

Your carnival society is already well into planning our towns’ processions for this year.

The big dates for your diary are Saturday 5 October for the afternoon Ann Hallett Children’s Carnival, and Saturday 12 October for our evening illuminated procession.

We are also busy raising the funds that make the carnivals such great events for the town. 

SUMMER CARNIVAL FAIR.  A new event for Cary’s summer calendar!  Come along on Sunday 9 June to Caryford Hall between 2pm – 5pm.  Enjoy a great afternoon of family entertainment; old-fashioned games for children and adults – remember the egg and spoon race, or perhaps try for a personal best in the sack race!  We already have a great range of stalls, plus bouncy castle, fancy dress and cake competitions.  Or, simply watch the fun whilst enjoying a freshly baked cream tea, or hearty BBQ.   

QUIZ EVENING WITH CHEESE ‘N’ WINE SUPPER.  Sunday 23 June at 7pm in the Shambles.  A great way to end the weekend!   

BINGO! On the first Wednesday of every month we hold a very popular and friendly bingo night.  It’s good fun with great prizes!  How about coming along to join us?  We are at Ansford Academy, doors open at 6:30pm with eyes down at 7:30pm.
