Castle Cary & Ansford Carnival 2023

CHILDREN’S CARNIVAL – Saturday 7 October, 3pm – 5pm.

Our fabulous Children’s Carnival kicks off with a Coffee Morning at The Market House from 10.00am. We will have Cakes, Bacon Butties, Face painting and stalls. The procession will leave the Primary School at 3pm, parading around the town and ending back at The Market House for more drinks and a circus skills workshop from Flotsam the Fool.

Once again we have themed our Children’s Carnival. Disney are celebrating 100 years, so we thought we would join in the celebration with our Carnival and encourage people to dress up as something Disney inspired, or maybe you would prefer to be a Superhero for the day.

EVENING ILLUMINATED CARNIVAL – Saturday 14 October, 7PM.

The procession leaves Ansford School at 7pm, comes down North Street, through the town, finishing just after the Torbay Road junction.

We are so happy to once again be bringing Carnival spirit back to Castle Cary & Ansford. With the wonderful lights, music and fun of the big carts, creativity and entertainment of the masqueraders and the twirling and dancing of our very own and visiting Majorette troupes. We will have some amazing entertainment before and after the procession at The Market House for you all to enjoy starting from 6pm. It looks like it will be another memorable night out – that also raises money for our community!!
